Trade: Jets informed former Chiefs’ WR Mecole Hardman that he is being sent back to Kansas City in another late-round draft pick swap.

Chiefs WR Justin Watson, who leads his team with 21.9 yards per catch, suffered a dislocated elbow last night, sources say. X-Rays were negative and he's getting an MRI now. He's out a few weeks at least, and it could be longer based on the results of the scans.

The Chiefs wide receiver room was already looking rough, as they continue to move the ball through TE Travis Kelce first and foremost. Rice doesn't line up on the perimeter as often as Watson has, but the rookie's role could continue to grow after his 4-72 output on Thursday Night Football.

Zay Jones is considered day-to-day after aggravating a knee injury during Jacksonville’s victory over Buffalo in London.

HC Doug Pederson had noted while speaking Monday that Jones was slated to undergo an MRI. Jones had also missed Weeks 3 and 4 with a knee issue. In three games this season, he has eight catches for 78 yards with two touchdowns.

Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Tank Dell suffered a concussion.

The post added that Ryans said, "We'll see how Tank is doing late in the week." Dell will enter concussion protocol and will have his status in doubt heading into Week 6. The Texans have an early game on Sunday when they host the Saints, so owners will have time to put in pace a backup plan if Dell is out. Over the last four weeks, Dell has mostly posted nice fantasy numbers - aside from a 1-16-0 line last week. Dell had a 7-72-1 line in Week 2, a 5-145-1 line in Week 3, and had three catches for 57 yards before leaving the game in Week 5.

Trade! The Chicago Bears are trading WR Chase Claypool to the Miami Dolphins, per league sources. It will be a 2025 6th from Miami for Claypool and a 2025 7th from Chicago.

The move will help the depth of the Dolphins receiving depth chart, as River Cracraft was put on the IR due to a shoulder injury last week. We shouldn't expect much in the way of consistent production as Claypool has now had issues with both of his first two NFL teams.

Browns RB Nick Chubb underwent successful surgery on his MCL but needs surgery on his ACL and should return at some point during the 2024 season.

The timeline is a little longer than originally thought. A previous report said there was little damage to the ACL and that Chubb's return could be in 6-8 months. It turned out the ACL does need repair and that surgery will come "in the coming months". Chubb should return at some point during the 2024 season but may not be ready for the start of the season. Chubb will be 28 years old entering the 2024 season and coming off a major injury, so he probably won't be a high pick in 2024 drafts next summer. But he will at least play, which is good news.
