Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf did not play in Sunday’s victory over the Cardinals and there’s no guarantee he’ll be back for the Week 8 matchup with Cleveland.

Head coach Pete Carroll said during his weekly interview with Seattle Sports radio that the team will “see how it goes” with Metcalf during the week.

Metcalf is dealing with injuries to his hips and ribs. He was a limited participant in last Friday’s practice and was questionable for the game, the story said. If he's unable to go in Week 8, Bobo and Smith-Njigba would see a bump in fantasy value. Bobo played ahead of JSN in two-receiver sets and led the team in routes run in Week 7.

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson will "be fine," coach Arthur Smith said Monday, after the rookie was severely limited during Sunday's victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Robinson said after the game that he was suffering from headaches and began "feeling weird" Saturday night. He struggled to sleep and woke up Sunday "feeling completely out of it." He took medicine to try and feel better, but his head continued to hurt.

The situation was definitely strange. Robinson was involved in 11 snaps total but only got a touch on the final play before the game-winning field goal. It was a three-yard run. Robinson said after the game that his head still was bothering him, adding that he was neither tested for a concussion nor administered a COVID test. He was not spotted in the locker room during the open media session Monday, the story added.

Seahawks WR DK Metcalf is officially inactive against the Cardinals.

Metcalf was a true game-time decision with hip and rib injuries and it looks like the injuries are holding him back too much for him to play. As a result, Tyler Lockett is now a strong start and Jaxon Smith-Njigba makes for an interesting flex option as well, especially for those with a bunch of options on a bye this week.

The Steelers activated WR Diontae Johnson from injured reserve and placed TE Pat Freiermuth on injured reserve.

Johnson is now able to play Sunday against the Rams. Freiermuth, on the other hand, is now out at least four games after aggravating his hamstring injury Thursday. Freiermuth will at miss games against the Rams, Jaguars, Titans and Packers. The Steelers are coming off their bye week. Johnson is a flex option in a tough matchup against the Rams and gives Kenny Pickett another weapon back. He’s a mid-tier QB2.

Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth is expected to miss Sunday’s game against the Rams and likely will be sidelined longer after aggravating his hamstring in practice Thursday.

Freiermuth had an MRI this morning, and now his return to action is on hold.

Something to keep an eye on: Pat Freiermuth was downgraded to limited participation with the hamstring issue in today’s practice.

To say that the third-year tight end has had a rough go of it statistically to this point in the season would be an understatement. In his Week 5 absence, Heyward and Washington ran a combined 34 routes and managed a 3-23 stat line on six targets.

We will need a clean bill of health heading into the weekend to consider a fantasy bounceback from Freiermuth.

Trade: Jets informed former Chiefs’ WR Mecole Hardman that he is being sent back to Kansas City in another late-round draft pick swap.

Hardman had only two routes on the 21 routes he ran with the Jets, and was clearly not a part of the gameplan after the team went out and signed all of the former Packers receivers. There's a chance that he will yet again carve out a piece of the Chiefs offense for himself as their current group hasn't been very exciting.
