10 Dynasty Players to Sell Before the NFL Draft

With the NFL draft right around the corner and the 2026 prospects about to find their landing spots, it's time for dynasty leagues to kick into full gear. Until the calendar flips to your rookie drafts, that means trading ... and the week of the draft is a hot spot for trade value. To help you capitalize on that value, I've curated 10 players to sell at their current price.

QB Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams took a solid step forward in his first year under Ben Johnson — as his dynasty managers hoped he would — narrowly missing the ever-elusive 4,000-yard-Bears-passer milestone but throwing 27 touchdowns and just six interceptions. He also took 44 fewer sacks than he did as a rookie, a massive improvement that suggests significant development as a pro. So why is he in this column? It's purely about price. Since the start of the season, Williams' consensus value has risen from QB12 all the way to QB3, behind only Josh Allen and Drake Maye. He's jumped Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Jayden Daniels, Jalen Hurts, and Patrick Mahomes, and has also outpaced Trevor Lawrence and Brock Purdy amid his meteoric rise.

Williams should absolutely be a locked-and-loaded dynasty QB1, especially at just 24 years old. No arguments there. But the only guy listed above who's hit 30 years old is Mahomes, and all seven of them have averaged more than Williams' 2025 mark of 18.69 points per game in at least one of the last two seasons. The Chicago QB has ridden an overreactive swing of dynasty valuation, and I'm confident the pendulum will swing back towards the QB6-QB9 range by this time next year. That means that even despite his year two growth, selling him now is likely to pay dividends in the near future. I'd try to pick up one of the guys listed above, along with a bonus pick, if possible.

WR Garrett Wilson, New York Jets

I think I've gained something of a reputation as a Garrett-Wilson-hater, but for what it's worth, it's not about the player himself. Wilson is extremely talented and tends to produce above the level of his offense and quarterback (when healthy). Here's the problem: the bar consistently set by the Jets offense and quarterback is quite possibly the lowest in the league. No organization outside of the Browns has had a harder time finding an answer under center this century, and signing Geno Smith after his abysmal 19-interception season in Las Vegas was yet another nail in that coffin. Also, while Wilson managed to snag four touchdowns in seven games before a knee injury ended his 2025 season, he also set a career low in receiving yards per game (56.4).

Meanwhile, he signed a four-year extension with the team last July, which means he's not going anywhere anytime soon, barring a trade. Were he to find his way to a Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, or even Brock Purdy, Wilson could be a perennial WR1. As it stands, I simply do not trust the Jets to solve their quarterback conundrum, which makes it tough to justify Wilson's place at WR12 in dynasty community consensus. I'd rather have Nico Collins with C.J. Stroud, Rome Odunze with Caleb Williams, or Rashee Rice with Patrick Mahomes (among others). And depending on where 2026 prospects Carnell Tate, Makai Lemon, and Jordyn Tyson go on Thursday, I might rather have the early first-round rookie pick to grab one of them as well.
