Fantasy Impact:

Klis said he never saw Lock at practice so his activation clock hasn't started yet - the same went for RB Theo Riddick and TE Jake Butt. The Broncos can only activate two of those three players.

Look for Vyncint Smith to have a larger role as the season goes on — especially when Sam Darnold returns.

Fantasy Impact:

Smith scored on a receiver reverse against the Eagles last week, a rare offensive TD for the Jets. Smith came from the Texans practice squad a few weeks ago but the Jets are impressed with his speed. The story called him a true "go-deep burner."

Fantasy Impact:

It's not the best matchup against the Cowboys, but the offense should get a boost with Darnold as the starter. The big question may be Darnold's conditioning but the hope is the passing game can now free up some room for Bell while boosting Crowder and Anderson at WR. TE Herndon could also be activated this week from his suspension.

Jets head coach Adam Gase said at a Monday press conference that Sam Darnold is set for another round of tests on Tuesday. The team is hoping to hear that Darnold’s no longer at an enhanced risk of having his spleen rupture and that he will be able to start at quarterback against the Cowboys in Week 6.

Fantasy Impact:

Gase said if Darnold gets cleared, he'll start. As the story said, over the last three games Darnold has missed, the offense has scored nine points.
