Team news: Minnesota Vikings | Page 34

For the second straight week, Colt McCoy appears set to start for the Cardinals. With QB Kyler Murray still dealing with a hamstring injury and limited all week, McCoy is good to go. The veteran hopes to replicate last week when he was 26 of 36 for 238 with a TD.

Hopefully, if you stuck Kyler Murray in your lineup for the Week 11 slate, you're able to go snag McCoy off of waiver wires. Jimmy Garoppolo is, of course, a perfectly fine replacement as opposed to taking a zero if you're able to grab him. McCoy doesn't offer the type of upside that Murray does, but you could do worse than QB2-type numbers as a last-minute fill-in.

Vikings star WR Justin Jefferson, who’s been listed as limited this week with a toe injury, is in good spirits and moving well during the portion of practice open to reporters.

OLB Za’Darius Smith (knee), LT Christian Darrisaw (concussion) are also here. No DT Dalvin Tomlinson (calf).

Good news for Jefferson, who is putting together a monster of a season. Looks like full-speed ahead for Week 11, where he is ranked as 4for4's WR2.

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson was limited in practice today due to a toe injury.

It's worth nothing just because it's Jefferson. Hopefully this was just a case of giving him a light day after a busy Week 10 against the Bills, but definitely keep an eye on his practice status over the next two days.

Matthew Stafford is out practicing in at least a limited capacity today (this is a step in the protocol).

Related players: John Wolford

Stafford came down to a game-time call this past week but gave way to Wolford. It looks like Stafford is progressing toward playing in Week 11, but continue to monitor him in practice this week. He'll, of course, be without his top weapon in Cooper Kupp, who is on the IR after ankle surgery.

Taylor Heinicke will start Sunday in Houston, Ron Rivera said.

Related players: Carson Wentz

Heinicke has guided the Commanders to a 3-1 mark since taking over for Wentz. Wentz remains on the IR with his finger injury but at this point it's going to be hard for the Commanders to go back to Wentz. This hopefully continues to be good news for Terry McLaurin, who has become fantasy-relevant again since Heinicke has taken over.

Kyler Murray could miss "another week or so.”

Related players: Colt McCoy, DeAndre Hopkins, Rondale Moore

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler first reported the news. If accurate, McCoy would get the start if Murray is out. McCoy wasn't bad last week, throwing for a TD and 238 yards. It was nice to see Hopkins (10-98-0) and Moore (9-94-0) continue to get targeted with Murray out of the lineup. Murray owners should have a backup plan as the Cards host the 49ers on Monday night in Week 11.

Rams QB Matthew Stafford is officially out against the Cardinals. John Wolford gets the start.

Per Demovsky, looking better for RB Aaron Jones, who will practice again today.

Related Players: A.J. Dillon

Good news for Jones, who left Week 9 with an ankle injury. He should be comfortably plugged into fantasy lineups, despite a tough matchup against the Cowboys.

Per Rodrigue, No Matthew Stafford at practice, as expected.

Related Players: John Wolford

John Wolford spent a lot of time with the first-team offense throughout training camp while Stafford dealt with his ongoing elbow injury, and that could come in handy in Week 10 if he were to get the start. The offense hasn't been too great with Stafford at the helm, so a positive matchup with the Cardinals' defense wouldn't be all too shabby for Wolford's fantasy implications. He could be a 2QB-league option if a manager were desperate for a Stafford replacement.
