Jordan Reed in concussion protocol

Redskins TE Jordan Reed is in the NFL’s concussion protocol after suffering the injury during Thursday’s preseason game against the Falcons, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Fantasy Impact:

Per Rapoport, this is at least the fourth concussion Reed has suffered during the NFL career. Others have noted at least six known concussions for the tight end. A once promising career has been derailed by the numerous concussions. At the very least, Reed is likely questionable, if not doubtful, for Week 1 against the Eagles. It’s possible we see a mix of Vernon Davis and Jeremy Sprinkle in Reed’s absence.
