Week 15 Fantasy Football Sneaky Starts & Sleepers
All but the luckiest fantasy owners at some point need to find the proverbial diamond in the rough—a waiver wire or bench player capable of putting up some points in a pinch. This weekly feature is dedicated to that part of fantasy football. It's not pretty, but it's part of the game.
As of Week 4, we’ve been using 2025 data for our Hot Spots reports and aFPA rankings. It will continue to update as the season progresses, and we began using a rolling 10-week window in Week 12. Remember, the higher the number, the better the matchup.
Quarterbacks
Brock Purdy, 49ers (vs. TEN, 29)
Brock Purdy should come out of the Week 14 bye with a big game. The Titans have been a pass funnel for most of the year, and their recent stretch is especially rough. Since Week 8, they’ve allowed productive games to Shedeur Sanders (364/3), Trevor Lawrence (229/2), Sam Darnold (244/2), Davis Mills (274/1), Justin Herbert (250/2), and Daniel Jones (272/3). Over that span, Tennessee has yielded an average of 272/2.17, or 23.4 fantasy points per game. Purdy has scored 16.8+ fantasy points in four of his five starts.
Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (vs. NYJ, 21)
Trevor Lawrence was a Sneaky Start last week, and he delivered with 244/2, continuing a strong run that includes 229/2 and 256/3 in Weeks 12-13. He’s also adding steady production on the ground, averaging 19.3 rushing yards and 0.38 rushing touchdowns per game, which gives him a nice built-in floor even when the matchup isn’t ideal. The Jets are a mediocre draw, but they’ve quietly been beatable by quarterbacks this year. They’ve allowed an average of 1.62 total touchdowns plus 18.9 rushing yards per game to the position—numbers that line up well with Lawrence’s recent usage and dual-threat contributions.
