Burks is still dealing with a concussion, and is fighting an uphill battle to play in Week 11. Hopkins remains the only fantasy option we should consider this week in the Titans' pass-catching group, as he looks to rebound from a 3-27-0 Week 10.

The signing of DeAndre Hopkins was —rightfully— considered a blow to Burks' 2023 fantasy aspirations, but it's been even worse than his disappointing rookie season. The A.J. Brown replacement has only eight receptions on the year, in five games played. None of the secondary pass-catching options need to be in fantasy consideration.

Burks will now miss his third straight matchup and is firmly on pace to be a disappointing draft-day selection. In a passing attack that is so often difficult to watch, DeAndre Hopkins is the only player we should be aiming for in fantasy.

The Titans removed WR Treylon Burks (knee) from the injury report and he's good to go for Sunday's opener vs the #Saints.

Burks is thankfully back in the lineup, but he could still be an iffy start on fantasy squads. Hopkins is still a good bet to eat up target share on a team looking to run the ball as much as possible. Hopkins is a good Flex play while Burks should stay on the bench while we see what this offense is capable of.

Kyle Philips suffered an MCL injury in Saturday’s preseason win over Minnesota, per paulkuharsky.com, an injury that will reportedly keep him out “in the range of six weeks.”

If he wound up missing six weeks, according to the story, Philips would likely miss at least the first three games of the season, probably four. Philips burst on to the scene in Week 1 last year but then faded and played in only four games. Philips was slated to be the team's WR3 this season so this injury likely sets him back. Next up are Moore, Westbrook-Ikhine and McMath.

The story went on to say, the Titans will likely have to use two of their initial 53-man roster spots on injured receivers — Burks and Philips. And if the team needs to keep two healthy receivers as a result, that means two players at other positions will not survive the Aug. 29 final cut.

Titans WR Treylon Burks suffered an LCL sprain during practice today, sources say after the MRI. This is good news, as Burks should only miss a few weeks. A scare, but a solid result considering.

Burks' rapidly descending ADP should continue its downward trajectory, which could certainly make him a target if Hopkins doesn't become a complete target hog in this run-heavy offense. Consider Burks a WR5 target as he falls well into the double-digit rounds, with upside if he makes a complete return close to Week 1.

Treylon Burks just made a deep catch from Ryan Tannehill for a TD. Tumbled go the ground and got up limping. He walked off with help from the trainers who were holding his left knee.

Without getting too speculative, some immediate reactions have mentioned that Burks may miss "some time". Obviously that's not very descriptive, but we'll keep an eye out for something more definitive as the day rolls on. For now, it's probably for the best to pause on drafting Burks if you can help it until official word comes down about the severity of the injury.

Free-agent WR DeAndre Hopkins is expected to sign with the Titans, per source. Deal is expected to become official over the next few days.

DeAndre Hopkins is an immediate impact to the entire operation of this offense and should allow Burks to operate out of slot more often which also raises his floor. Hopkins can be considered a WR2 if this goes through.

Any news is good news after Burks was unable to see the field during rookie minicamp, partially due to issues with inhaler-timing. It seems he now has that under control and will have a chance to carve out a role in an offense in desperate need to fill some target share holes. Currently ranked as our WR49, so he has plenty of room to make up.

Titans WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

His return is big, especially if Julio Jones is not activated from the COVID list.
