Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown dealing with ankle injury

The Detroit Lions are going to be without Tracy Walker and (probably) D’Andre Swift. Now they’re hoping for the best with Amon-Ra St. Brown.

The budding star injured his right ankle in the 28-24 loss on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. St. Brown underwent testing on the ankle this week, and received “encouraging” news according to NFL Network.

Fantasy Impact:

The story sent on to say the report said: “They’ll be cautious, but if St. Brown misses time, it shouldn’t be anything long term.” To say St. Brown has been stud could be an understatement. As the story added, St. Brown injured the ankle in the first half of the game and hobbled to the sidelined, where he was evaluated by trainers for a few minutes before getting another tape job and then returning to the game. He played 57 of a possible 78 offensive snaps, and finished with a team-high six catches for 73 yards. That snapped an NFL-record streak of eight straight games with eight catches, plus a club-record streak of six straight games with a touchdown catch.
