DK Reignmakers Week 14 Elite Tier Strategy

Welcome to the Week 14 edition of the 4for4 DraftKings Reignmaker strategy series! Each week Andrew Fleischer and I will both have an article detailing different strategies to help you take home the money in DraftKings’ newest DFS offering played with NFTs.

We’ll start with a recap of last week’s tournament-winning lineup and how our picks did in week 13.

RMF Classic Elite Fiat Frenzy $100k Winning Lineup (2,783 entries, 867 paid = 31%):

Jalen Hurts threw for an incredible 380 yards and three touchdowns, finishing as the QB1 on the week with 37.4 DK points. Two of his touchdowns went to the WR3 on the week, A.J. Brown, who scored 34.9 DK points. Amon-Ra St. Brown was back to his double-digit reception ways with 11 catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns on his way to a WR2 overall finish, scoring 37.6 DK points. Garrett Wilson didn’t get in the endzone, but his eight receptions for 162 yards were good for 27.2 DK points and a WR8 overall finish. We skipped over the running back, but Josh Jacobs didn’t get to 300 yards from scrimmage this week. He did enough, however, to score 24 DK points and finish as the RB4 overall in Week 13.

Reviewing our optimal options from Week 13, Justin Herbert had a high-volume game with 47 passing attempts that resulted in 335 yards but threw for only one passing touchdown. He finished as QB9 on the week despite the plus matchup. As we discussed, Brown and Jacobs had fantastic days and ended up in the $100k winning lineup. Davante Adams could have been since he broke the slate, finishing as the WR1 on the week with over 40 DK points. Ja’Marr Chase had a solid but unspectacular first game back from injury. He just barely missed the bonus for 100 receiving yards, finishing as the WR17 with 16.7 DK points on seven receptions for 97 yards. My value plays went 1-1, with Garrett Wilson ending up in the winning lineup and Trevor Lawrence disappointing in a plus matchup. Onward to Week 14!

Optimal Options

If money is no object, here are the best plays at each starting spot based on the Week 14 rankings over at 4for4.

Tua Tagovailoa, QB MIA (Elite FP: $625, Rare FP: $67)

Tagovailoa is the fifth-ranked quarterback on the week at 4for4, but of the top six ranked quarterbacks this week, he is the only one that isn’t facing a top-ten defense in terms of average fantasy points allowed (aFPA). He is projected to score 23.9 DK points. Miami is a three-point road favorite against the Los Angeles Chargers. Los Angeles is a neutral matchup, giving up the 17th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to the position. The Dolphins have a 27.25-point implied team total, tied for the second-highest of the week.

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB NE (Elite FP: $300, Rare FP: $40)

Stevenson is on an absolute tear. Last week against the Bills, he had eight targets and has had a 20% target share or more in each of the previous seven games. Stevenson is the top-ranked running back at 4for4 and is projected to score 23.6 DK points. New England is an early one-point road favorite against the Arizona Cardinals, who give up the 11th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to opposing running backs. The Patriots have a 22.25-point implied team total, the 13th-highest of the week.

Justin Jefferson, WR MIN (Elite FP: $625, Rare FP: $48)

Jefferson is ranked as the WR1 at 4for4 and is projected to score 25.7 DK points with the bonus for 100 receiving yards. The Minnesota Vikings are a two-and-a-half-point road dog against the Detroit Lions, who are giving up the eighth-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The Vikings have a 24.75-point implied team total, the eighth-highest of the week.

Tyreek Hill, WR MIA (Elite FP: $495 Rare FP: $40)

Hill is the second-best wide receiver play according to 4for4 rankings and is projected to score 25.4 DK points with the bonus for 100 yards. Miami is a three-point road favorite against the Los Angeles Chargers. Los Angeles is a tough matchup, giving up the sixth-fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy points to the position, but Tyreek Hill is matchup-proof. The Dolphins have a 27.25-point implied team total, tied for the second-highest of the week.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR DET (Elite FP: $598, Rare FP: $65)

St. Brown is the sixth-ranked wide receiver at 4for4 and is projected to score 19.3 DK points. Detroit is a two-and-a-half-point home favorite against the Minnesota Vikings, who are giving up the most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to the position. The Lions have a 27.25-point implied team total, tied for the second-highest of the week.

Value Plays

Kirk Cousins, QB MIN (Elite FP: $300, Rare FP: $24)

Cousins has the absolute best matchup for quarterbacks in Week 14. He is ranked as the QB8 this week by 4for4 and is projected to score 22.2 DK points. The Minnesota Vikings are a two-and-a-half-point road dog against the Detroit Lions, who are giving up the most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The Vikings have a 24.75-point implied team total, the eighth-highest of the week.

Christian Kirk, WR JAX (Elite FP: $249, Rare FP: $19)

Kirk is ranked as the WR15 at 4for4 and is projected to score 15 DK points, but watch the injury reports for Trevor Lawrence. If he sits, then Kirk is likely a fade. Jacksonville is an early three-and-a-half-point road dog against the Tennessee Titans, who give up the second-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. The Jaguars have an 18.75-point implied team total, the seventh-fewest of the week.
