For the second week in a row, it was difficult to win in DFS without Justin Fields who put up more than 40+ points once again. Tony Pollard crushed it in spot duty after Ezekiel Elliot was a late inactive resulting in sub-two percent of the field putting him in their lineups. I guess the field was off Justin Jefferson because of the difficult matchup, but he showed his detractors what’s up with a David Tyree-level insane catch on his way to a career-high 193 yards. CeeDee Lamb finished as the WR1 in Week 10 with a massive 41-point performance against the Packers' tough pass defense. Stefon Diggs didn’t get in the endzone but he did catch a whopping 12 passes for 128 yards, good for 27.8 DK points.

Let’s quickly review last week’s plays before moving on to Week 11. Our top-ranked quarterback Josh Allen finished as the QB6 with 21.6 points. Not bad but nearly doubled up on by Justin Fields. Saquon Barkley was our optimal play at running back scoring 26 DK points. Cooper Kupp was hugely disappointing but he hurt his ankle early in the game and is now likely out for the rest of the 2022 season. Travis Kelce finished as the TE2 in Week 10 behind only Cole Kmet who scored two touchdowns to take the top spot. Christian McCaffery couldn't get it going early and was overtaken by Elijah Mitchell in his first game back in the second half of the game against the Chargers. McCaffery did get the touchdown and all of the receptions on his way to an RB11 finish with 17.7 DK points.

Our value plays worked out ok but not good enough to win the $100k. Trevor Lawrence played well against the Chiefs, finishing as the QB8. Jamaal Williams scored 11.9 DK points and was the RB20 on the week. After two great weeks, DJ Moore turned back into a pumpkin, showing up with just 2.9 DK points in Week 10. On to Week 11!

Optimal Options

If money is no object, here are the best plays at each starting spot based on the Week 11 rankings over at 4for4.

Josh Allen, QB BUF (Elite FP: $1,045, Rare FP: $85)

For the second week in a row, Allen is the top-ranked quarterback on the week at 4for4 and is projected to score 24.5 DK points. Buffalo is a nine-and-a-half-point favorite against the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland is a neutral matchup giving up the seventeenth-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The Bills have a 28.25-point implied team total, the second-highest of the week.

Saquon Barkley, RB NYG (Elite FP: $649, Rare FP: $59)

Barkley is the top-ranked running back at 4for4 again this week and is projected to score 24 DK points. New York is an early three-point home favorite against the Detroit Lions who are giving up the eighth-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to opposing running backs. The Giants have a 24.75-point implied team total, the fourth-highest of the week.

Justin Jefferson, WR MIN (Elite FP: $670, Rare FP: $62)

Jefferson is the top-ranked wide receiver at 4for4 and is projected to hit the 100-yard bonus for receiving yards and score 24.5 DK points. Minnesota is an early one-point home dog against the Dallas Cowboys which is a bit surprising considering the Cowboys just lost to the Packers and the Vikings just took down the BIlls and have only one loss this season. Dallas is a top half of the league pass defense, giving up the 13th-fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. The Vikings have a 23.25-point implied team total, the seventh-highest of the week.

Stefon Diggs, WR BUF (Elite FP: $965 Rare FP: $140)

Travis Kelce has a tough matchup this week so we’re going with a receiver in the WR/TE slot. Diggs isn’t designated as a “Superstar” so he can be stacked with Josh Allen. He is the WR2 at 4for4 and is projected to score 21.1 DK points. Buffalo is an early nine-and-a-half-point home favorite against the Cleveland Browns, who are a neutral matchup, giving up the fifteenth-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.

CeeDee Lamb, WR DAL (Elite FP: $725, Rare FP: $68)

We’re going with a third wide receiver in the flex this week. Lamb is the WR3 at 4for4 and is projected to score 20.4 DK points but I think the ceiling is much higher than that with both teams coming off shootouts. Dallas is a one-point road favorite against the Minnesota Vikings who are giving up the fourth-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to the position. The Cowboys have a 24.25-point implied team total, the fifth-highest of the week.

Value Plays

Justin Fields, QB CHI (Elite FP: $645, Rare FP: $89)

Fields can be had on the marketplace for $400 less than Josh Allen but has been the QB1 overall in fantasy over the last five weeks. Fields is ranked as the QB4 this week by 4for4 and is projected to score 23.2 DK points. The Chicago Bears are a three-point road dog against the Atlanta Falcons who are giving up the fourth-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The Bears have a 23.25-point implied team total, the 14th-highest of the week.

Antonio Gibson, RB WAS (Elite FP: $98, Rare: $15)

Gibson is slightly ahead of Brian Robinson in snap share over the last two weeks, despite the rookie being the defacto starter. Both should produce this week but Gibson offers a higher floor and ceiling combination because of his involvement in the passing game. Gibson is ranked as the RB19 among running backs by 4for4 and is projected to score 13.1 DK points. Washington is an early two-and-a-half point road favorite against the Houston Texans who are giving up the most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to opposing running backs. The Commanders have a 23-point implied team total, the 11th-highest of the week.

That’s going to do it for this week’s edition. If there’s something you would like covered in a weekly strategy article for DraftKings Reignmakers contests please feel free to reach out to me on Twitter!
