The Tennessee WR depth chart already looked suspect, and this won't help matters. It's good news that Burks will avoid IR, but clearly not a positive for his continued development. Robert Woods hasn't had quite the year that was forecasted in the preseason, but this could afford him an opportunity to demand a more significant workload.
Any news is good news after Burks was unable to see the field during rookie minicamp, partially due to issues with inhaler-timing. It seems he now has that under control and will have a chance to carve out a role in an offense in desperate need to fill some target share holes. Currently ranked as our WR49, so he has plenty of room to make up.
Woods takes a hit in quarterback play with Ryan Tannehill, but has far less competition at wideout whenever he recovers from ACL surgery. The Titans are still thin at receiver and should add via free agency or the NFL Draft.
