Squirrel Patrol's Week 9 NFL Main Slate DFS GPP Picks
Week 9 brings an 11-game main slate on Sunday, kicking off at 1 PM ET, with DraftKings featuring multiple Millionaire Maker contests and FanDuel offering a contest with a $1 million total prize pool. LV/SF carries the highest total on the slate at 52.0, with the 49ers favored by 10, followed by DAL/IND at 51.5, with the Cowboys favored by 5.5, and DET/MIA at 50.5, with the Lions favored by 6.5. LAR/WAS and NYJ/KC are next at 47.5, with the 49ers (-10) and Chiefs (-9.5) the two biggest favorites on the slate. Four games kick off in the late window: HOU/LAC at 4:05 PM ET and LV/SF, GB/NE, and ARI/SEA at 4:25 PM ET.
Injuries are shaping the slate again. Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday coming off the 49ers' bye, and I'm writing this assuming he plays, while Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and Mike Evans (Achilles) have not practiced this week for San Francisco. Cam Skattebo (hamstring) has not practiced this week either, and with Tyrone Tracy Jr. on injured reserve, I'm assuming Devin Singletary leads the Giants' backfield. Garrett Wilson (concussion) sat out Wednesday and Thursday for the Jets, and Breece Hall (quad) practiced in full Thursday and is expected to return. TreVeyon Henderson (illness) and Hunter Henry (foot) have not practiced for New England; Amon-Ra St. Brown (ribs) and Christian Watson (ribs) were limited Thursday, and I'm assuming both play. Deshaun Watson remains in the concussion protocol, so I'm assuming Shedeur Sanders starts for Cleveland, and Drew Lock starts again for Seattle with Sam Darnold out.
Let's break down the positions, spotlight some of the best DFS options, and map out a path to the top of the leaderboards this Sunday.
