Squirrel Patrol's Week 8 NFL Main Slate DFS GPP Picks
Week 8 brings an 11-game main slate on Sunday, kicking off at 1 PM ET, with DraftKings featuring multiple Millionaire Maker contests and FanDuel offering a contest with a $1 million total prize pool. Two games share the highest total on the slate at 54.5: BAL/BUF, with the Bills favored by 3, and ARI/DAL, with the Cowboys favored by 7. TEN/CIN, IND/JAX, and MIN/DET are next at 46.5, 46.5, and 46.0, with the Bengals (-12.5) and Jaguars (-10) the two biggest favorites on the slate. CLE/PIT has the lowest total at 39.5. The Cowboys carry the highest implied team total at 30.75, with the Bengals (29.5), Bills (28.75), and Jaguars (28.25) behind them. Only three games kick off in the late window: LAC/LAR at 4:05 PM ET and KC/DEN and NE/MIA at 4:25 PM ET.
Injuries are shaping the slate again. Lamar Jackson (ankle) practiced in full on Wednesday and Thursday after missing three games, and I'm writing this assuming he starts in Buffalo. Carnell Tate (shoulder) has not practiced all week for Tennessee, and Tyjae Spears (knee) sat out Wednesday and Thursday, so I'm assuming both are out. A.J. Brown (ankle/knee) went from limited to a non-participant on Thursday for New England, and Breece Hall (quad) has been limited all week for the Jets and is Questionable for the Jets.
Let's break down the positions, spotlight some of the best DFS options, and map out a path to the top of the leaderboards this Sunday.
