Eagles TE Zach Ertz missed practice Wednesday with a hamstring injury.

Ertz was banged up a bit during the Seahawks game. It’s early in the week, but this is certainly a notable development to follow, as Ertz has still been a very solid tight end option, even with the expected regression that occurred this season. The Eagles have been riddled with injuries, as Alshon Jeffery (ankle), Nelson Agholor (knee) and Jordan Howard (shoulder) were all limited Wednesday.

With Jeff Driskel dealing with a hamstring injury, David Blough will get the start for the Lions on Thursday against the Bears.

The season just gets worse for the Lions, who on now on their third quarterback this season and are on a run of seven losses in eight games. The offense already took a hit under Driskel and might even drop another level or two under the undrafted rookie out of Purdue. At this point, the season can't end soon enough for the Lions.

If Driskel can't go, Blough looks like he'll get start assuming Stafford wouldn't be able to play. Even if Driskel plays with a sore hammy, it would likely limit his own running game and overall fantasy production. It's a tough matchup against the Bears defense on top of it.

The story the team was interested in signing Josh Johnson but the XFL declined to release him from his contract. With a short week, it could mean Matthew Stafford and Driskel may be in jeopardy of missing the Thanksgiving Day game. Blough is the only healthy QB on the roster right now.

Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Monday that he expects Chase Edmonds (hamstring) to play in the Cardinals' Week 13 matchup with the Rams, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Since Edmonds got hurt, Drake has pretty much taken over the backfield duties. We can only assume Drake continues to get a majority of the workload, but it's possible Edmonds sees a similar role to what he had before he got hurt. Outside of a 27-126-3 line against the Giants, Edmonds averaged between 5-8 carries between weeks 4-7. Meanwhile, Johnson can't be trusted in lineups. He got zero touches in Week 11.
