Patriots release TE Ben Watson

New England Patriots officially have released TE Ben Watson.

Fantasy Impact:

That didn't last long. Watson didn't make the trip this week when the Pats traveled to Washington. Watson was potentially in a nice spot after his suspension to jump into the Pats offense but he's now free to sign with another team.

Cardinals RB James Conner (heel) and WR Rondale Moore (hamstring) are active for Super Wild Card Monday against the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

Conner active means Chase Edmonds should be no worse than in a 50/50 split, but loses his lead dog role. Moore has been used sporadically and is a true boom/bust play against the Rams.

Rams WR Van Jefferson (shoulder) was limited Friday after practicing in full Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Not a great sign for Jefferson, but maybe he had time spent with the trainers that limited his practice instead of a setback.

Cardinals RB James Conner (heel) did not practice Friday, while RB Chase Edmonds (ribs/toe) and WR Rondale Moore (ankle) were limited.

Fantasy Impact:

A second DNP is bad news for Conner, especially with Edmonds ailing as well.
