The New York Giants are releasing RB Devontae Booker.
Fantasy Impact:
Booker is another cap casualty. He was the most reliable running back for the Giants last season, but he is 30 years old and backup RBs can be had for cheaper than what he was being paid. Look for Booker to be a backup somewhere else in 2022.

Coach Glenn said WR Garrett Wilson will undergo further evaluation on his knee injury.
Wilson left the game early with the knee injury without recording a catch. Even if Wilson can play in Week 11, it's going to be tough to trust him in fantasy lineups when you factor in the injury and the play of QB Justin Fields. We'll likely know more as the week goes on, but Wilson owners will probably want to make other plans for his lineup spot, especially since the Jets play the Patriots on Thursday night this week.

But Justin Jefferson’s lack of energy cannot be ignored. He is the face of this franchise. His consistent brilliance has set a standard of expectation much higher than what he delivered Sunday.
The numbers Jefferson is putting up this season are nowhere near what he is used to. In his first five seasons in the league, he averaged 95.5 receiving yards per game and eight touchdowns per season. This season, with a young J.J. McCarthy and Carson Wentz as his two quarterbacks, he is averaging 76.2 yards and has scored only two touchdowns in nine games.
The story pointed to some instances where Jefferson would normally bring in a catch for a big play or even a touchdown, but it didn't happen in Week 10. Jefferson finished with four catches for 37 yards against the Ravens. The author said you can probably count the number of bad games Jefferson has had in his career on one hand, but unfortunately this past week was one of them. The author also pointed to a lack of sharp routes run and a lack of pursuit after an interception. It could be frustration as McCarthy was up and down. The author even said the Ravens were clutching and grabbing him a bit, too. No matter, fantasy owners have likely been disappointed with Jefferson's overall fantasy production this season for where he was drafted. Hopefully there is some emphasis by the Vikings to get Jefferson more involved going forward.

Chargers TE Oronde Gadsden is scheduled to undergo an MRI today for the knee injury that he suffered last night.
Gadsden took a knee-on-knee hit during the SNF game against the Steelers and didn't return. Gadsden was a sleeper pick in dynasty leagues this past spring, and sure enough, he emerged as the Chargers TE1 over the last several weeks. Any missed time would be a huge hole for the Chargers, and of course fantasy owners who have begun to plug Gadsden in every week. We'll update as the news comes in.
