Chiefs WR Rashee Rice ruled out against Chargers

Chicago listed Caleb Williams questionable for Sunday’s game against Atlanta after another full practice Friday. Williams is working back from a hamstring injury and has not been confirmed as the starter. Kyle Monangai was ruled out with thumb and toe injuries.

Williams would return to QB1 consideration if cleared, but managers need a backup until Chicago confirms his availability. His return would also improve the outlook for Burden, Odunze, and Loveland. Monangai’s absence strengthens Swift’s RB2 appeal and creates a path to a larger workload. Johnson is a deeper FLEX possibility, with his value depending on how Chicago divides the remaining touches.

DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks practiced fully Friday and carry no injury designation against Carolina.

Smith offers WR3 value with WR2 upside if he resumes his usual role, although McKee’s first start adds uncertainty. Wicks becomes a more volatile FLEX with Smith and Brown available to compete for targets. Lemon, Cooper and Brown are difficult to trust in standard-sized leagues with the receiving room healthier. Goedert remains a reasonable tight end streaming option.

Saquon Barkley will miss Sunday’s game against Carolina with a hamstring injury. Philadelphia also placed Will Shipley on injured reserve with a foot injury. Dameon Pierce is in line to start, with Carson Steele backing him up.

Pierce is a viable RB2 based on his opportunity to lead this depleted backfield. Philadelphia’s quarterback change adds uncertainty to its scoring outlook, but Pierce’s expected workload makes him a reasonable replacement for injured starters. Steele is a deep-league handcuff rather than a comfortable FLEX.
