JAX/CIN carries the highest total on the slate at 51.5, with the Bengals favored by 2.5, and NE/BUF and DAL/HOU follow at 48.5, with the Bills favored by 7.0 and the Texans by 3.0. KC/LV and DEN/SF sit at 47.5, MIA/MIN has the lowest total on the slate at 38.5, and the Bills carry the highest implied team total at 27.75, with the Bengals and Ravens (27.0), Chiefs (26.0), and Texans (25.75) behind them.
The Friday injury report is shaping the slate. Baker Mayfield (thumb) is out, so undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels makes his first start for Tampa Bay; the Bears have ruled out Caleb Williams (hamstring) without naming a starter, though Tyson Bagent has taken the first-team reps this week; and De'Von Achane is done for the season with a torn ACL. The Jets have ruled out Breece Hall (quad), Adonai Mitchell (finger), and Mason Taylor (thumb). Justin Jefferson (ankle) and DeVonta Smith (hamstring) were not seen at practice on Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday, Mike Evans (ribs) did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, and I'm writing this assuming all three are out. Nico Collins (hamstring) practiced again on Friday after two limited sessions, Puka Nacua (hip) was limited on Thursday, and I'm assuming both play after each missed the last two games. Lamar Jackson (back) and Zay Flowers (hamstring) were full participants on Thursday, and the Patriots have ruled out cornerback Christian Gonzalez (shoulder) for the trip to Buffalo.
