Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Week 14: What Can Browning Do For You?
The playoff brackets are almost set in most, if not all leagues, as we head into Week 14, and for those of us who are streaming one or multiple of the onesie positions, the job isn’t done quite yet. We have one more short set of bye weeks (Kyler Murray, Sam Howell) before the schedule allows us a full slate of teams, so let’s comb through the options for the regular season finale.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.
Week 13 Review
We were trending towards a pretty good week in these streets until Kenny Pickett went down with an ankle injury, and the Falcons essentially decided to stop throwing the ball. Gardner Minshew has been the gift that keeps on giving, though, as he once again came through with a QB1 finish after we talked about him here in this digital ink. Let’s touch on him some more and find other options ahead of Week 14.

Gardner Minshew (Colts) @ Bengals
In a surprising shootout that would eventually hit overtime last week, Minshew topped 45 dropbacks for his second game in a row, delivering another stream-worthy performance with a QB11 finish. Despite his 312-yard, two-touchdown, 18.7-point result, he could have easily had more on the day, as Matt Gay would end up kicking four field goals, with three of them coming from within 30 yards. Even with those drives fizzling out (and Minshew fumbling the ball twice), the team is clearly not opposed to running the offense through the journeyman quarterback, particularly with Jonathan Taylor missing the next few weeks.
The Colts have the fifth-highest neutral game pass rate over these last two weeks (63.9%) and will look to continue that against a Bengals team that allows 266.4 yards per game through the air (27th). Minshew is still available in 77% of Yahoo leagues.
