Week 14 vs. Atlanta Falcons
Despite a tough matchup, Davante Adams produced as usual, posting eight catches for 93 yards and a touchdown last week. Given Adams' usage and a matchup that doesn't look all that tough, Adams should be a strong play. Aaron Rodgers looks his way continuously. Adams is a WR1 play even in games when Rodgers doesn't have his best stuff. After all, he's scored in nine of 12 games this season.
Week 13 vs. Arizona Cardinals
Aaron Rodgers had a tough day last week and that resulted in five catches for 69 yards for Davante Adams, though he did score -- again -- to make it a viable day. Adams has been limited to 70 or fewer yards in three of his past four games, but he's seemingly the only player Rodgers looks to in the red zone. Even though he'll draw Patrick Peterson this week, Rodgers has too much trust in Adams to forget about him. He should get enough work to be a WR1 again this week.
Week 12 at Minnesota Vikings
Davante Adams was held out of the end zone for just the third time this season last week but was valuable nonetheless, posting 10 catches for a season-high 166 yards on 12 targets. He'll draw Xavier Rhodes in shadow coverage this week, which will make life difficult but not impossible. In their previous meeting this season, Adams had eight catches for 64 yards and a score. Feel free to use him as a WR1. He's always a threat to score.
Week 11 at Seattle Seahawks
Davante Adams caught just four passes for 57 yards last week in his slowest game of the season -- except he scored twice. He's proving to be a touchdown machine and has failed to score in just two games this season. The Seahawks have given up just nine touchdown passes to opposing receivers this season, but Adams is a threat to score every week. He's a solid WR1 start this week despite a reasonably tough matchup.
Week 10 vs. Miami Dolphins
Davante Adams had his impact limited last week to six catches for 40 yards, but as he usually does, he got into the end zone for his seventh score of the season. Adams has scored in six of the team's eight games this season and is as good a bet to score each week as any receiver. The Dolphins have allowed just eight of the 16 TD passes they have given up this season to go to receivers, but Adams is a different animal in that regard. He's a solid WR1 play.
Week 9 at New England Patriots
Davante Adams didn't score last week - only the second game that hasn't happened this season - but he did post his third-straight 100-yard game, catching five passes for 133 yards. The Patriots have kept opposing receivers out of the end zone in four of the past five games, but Adams is a threat to score in every game. He's a solid WR1 play every week and especially so this week in a game that has the look of a shootout.
Week 8 at L.A. Rams
Davante Adams comes out of the bye healthy, which is more than can be said for some of his teammates at the receiver position. But that's not been a bad thing for Adams. With Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison hurting, Adams has posted 19 total catches, a pair of 100-yard games and three touchdowns in his past two games. There's no reason to think he's going to slow down this week. He's a WR1 start every week.
Week 6 vs. San Francisco 49ers
With the rest of the regular Green Bay receiving corps banged up, Davante Adams had nine receptions for 140 yards and a score in his best game this season. It looks like Geronimo Allison and Randall Cobb will both be back this week, which could take some pressure off Adams. The 49ers have been pretty good against opposing receivers, but part of that is because they just came off a game against the Cardinals. Adams and Rodgers should be a solid pairing again this week.
Week 5 at Detroit Lions
Davante Adams matched his season high with eight receptions and had 81 yards but failed to score for the first time this season. He suffered a calf injury at practice Wednesday, so keep an eye on the injury report since he was unable to go Thursday. This could be a game-time decision. Adams also will likely draw Darius Slay a lot. Adams has more than 53 yards in a game against the Lions just once in his career, so be careful here. You have to start him, but keep the expectations tempered.
Week 4 vs. Buffalo Bills
Davante Adams has scored in each game this season but had seven receptions for just 52 yards last week. He's now gone 19 of the past 20 games without a 100-yard outing, making him more valuable in PPR leagues, though his scoring prowess helps. The Bills allowed 23 receptions to Minnesota's talented WR group last week but for only 164 yards. Adams is a WR1 in PPR and more of a WR2 in standard scoring leagues this week.
