Bills’ QB Josh Allen did not practice today due to the shoulder injury he was dealing with during last Thursday night’s win over the Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact:

Allen kept passes close to the line of scrimmage (6.2 aDOT) in Week 8, but that didn't keep him from completing 77.5% of his passes for 324 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran seven times for 41 yards, with four of them coming on scrambles, so it must not have been too concerned about his shoulder. We'll keep an eye on his status, but it would be surprising if he didn't go Week 9.

It's more likely that Murray continues to take over the early-and-goal-line role than it is that Cook gets a boost in those areas. The Bills have made it clear that they would like to keep the 190-pound running back out of harm's way, as he only has three of the team's 15 rushing attempts from within the opponent's five-yard line. Murray's role should put him in consideration as an RB3 option, as the team is currently 8.5-point favorites against the Patriots.
