Vikings WR Adam Thielen underwent season-ending ankle surgery December 28.

Tough end to the season for one of the best red zone targets in the NFL. Osborn becomes a WR3/Flex Week 17.

Cowboys RB Tony Pollard (foot) is questionable for Week 15's game at the New York Giants.

Related Player: Corey Clement

Pollard got in two limited practices. If he does not play, Corey Clement will be Dallas's change-of-pace back.

Cowboys RB Tony Pollard rehabbed, but did not participate in practice Wednesday.

It would not be surprising to see Pollard out once again Week 15. Pick up Clement or have another option ready.

Robert Saleh said Monday that he expects Michael Carter, Michael Carter II, Tevin Coleman, Bryce Huff and Tyler Kroft to return Sunday against Miami.

Carter was placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury after Week 11. One would think he'd step back into the starting role for the Jets. He had 10 touches in Week 11 before getting hurt but before that logged 20, 14, 24 and 19 touches in the weeks leading up. The Jets get the Dolphins, Jaguars, Buccaneers and Bills to close out the season.

Falcons head coach Arthur Smith said last month that there was no update on Ridley, who is on the non-football illness list after stepping away from the team to deal with mental health issues. On Monday, he said things remain status quo when it comes to Ridley.

“As soon as we get an update, we’ll give you an update,” Smith said, via D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I understand that you’ve got to ask, but there is no update there.”

Ridley only played five games for the Falcons this year and the Falcons’ lack of depth at wideout is illustrated by the fact that Russell Gage is the only receiver with more catches than Ridley had before leaving the team, the story pointed out.

Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy is “feeling a lot better” about RB Tony Pollard’s ability to play Sunday.

The Cowboys take on the Giants and already say Pollard's chances are better now versus last week leading up to the game against Washington. Pollard missed his first game of season with a torn plantar fascia. It's worth nothing that Elliott and Clement split the workload, with Zeke getting 12 carries to Clement's 13 and each catching a pass as well.

Cowboys RB Tony Pollard (foot) is questionable for Week 14's game against the Washington Football Team.

Pollard said he has a tear in his plantar fascia, which sounds all sorts of awful. If he does not play, Zeke will get a larger workload and still be mediocre.

Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard will be a game-time decision for Week 14 against Washington.

Pollard said that he tore his plantar fascia on his 58-yard touchdown run against the New Orleans Saints. He will test out the injury before game time prior to the team's medical staff making the final call. Both Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott are dealing with injuries that are limiting their practice participation, so the Cowboys could lean on the pass against a burnable Washington secondary, even if both backs are active. Pollard is currently our 25th ranked running back for Week 14.

Vikings WR Adam Thielen (ankle) will not play Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. RB Dalvin Cook (shoulder) is questionable.

The short week was going to keep Thielen out. While Obsorn is expected to start in Thielen's place, do not be surprised if Tyler Conklin gets more run.

Vikings WR Adam Thielen didn't practice on Tuesday while RB Dalvin Cook was limited.

Cook, of course, is dealing with a shoulder injury. He was listed as DNP Monday so this is a potential trend in the right direction for Thursday's game with Pittsburgh, but owners probably shouldn't get hopes up just yet. If Cook can't go, it would mean an RB1-type workload for Mattison. Meanwhile, Thielen didn't practice for the second-straight day meaning his status continues to not look good on the short week as he's dealing with his ankle injury. Reports say he's not expected to play, so it should be another big day for Justin Jefferson with Conklin and Osborn also getting more looks.
