Tyler Conklin was the TE18 last season, which wasn’t a bad finish given the Jets’ carousel of quarterbacks. With Aaron Rodgers back in the fold, the quality of Conklin’s targets should improve even if he’s likely to take a backseat to Mike Williams in terms of quantity of targets. He’s having a good camp and is “poised for a big season” per Connor Hughes.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson, who has been limited all week with an elbow injury, is questionable for Sunday, with Robert Saleh saying he feels good about him (and many of the other questionables) playing.

Fantasy Impact:

If Garrett Wilson were to miss, no one else on this team outside of Breece Hall could be trusted in fantasy. Lazard has looked awful this year and the rotation behind him is very thin.

NYJ TE Tyler Conklin - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at San Francisco 49ers

Tyler Conklin comes into the week as our TE18. While he did have some serviceable games last year, given the state of the tight end position, he's not someone that is going to get fantasy managers too excited this week. His best effort last season was seven catches for 70 yards. Conklin failed to find the end zone all of last year. In fact, he only have seven touchdowns in his six-year career thus far.

Ideally, you have a better option outside of double-TE leagues or some other strange setup.
