Saints placed RB Devin Neal on injured reserve, bringing an end to his rookie season.

Related Players: Evan Hull, Audric Estime

It's anybody's guess how this RB snap share will work out, but the most likely scenario is Estime taking a majority of the early down work, with Hull taking a good chunk of the third-down snaps. The Saints don't currently have any other names on the practice squad, but that doesn't mean they won't make some type of move ahead of the weekend. We don't recommend starting any Saints RBs in Week 16.

Bears WRs Rome Odunze (Foot) and Luther Burden III (Ankle) both ruled out for Saturday vs. Packers.

Related Players: D.J. Moore, Olamide Zaccheaus, Devin Duvernay, Colston Loveland, Cole Kmet

The D.J. Moore glow-up should continue here in Week 16, as we should once again consider him a WR2 after what has been a mostly tumultuous season.

In addition, Loveland is definitely in the streaming conversation, with a great opportunity to finish as a top-10 option.

Saints HC Kellen Moore already has ruled out both RB Devin Neal and WR Devaughn Vele for Sunday’s game against the Jets.

Luther Burden (ankle) and Rome Odunze (foot) would not have practiced. Burden was injured in last Sunday’s win over the Browns while Odunze aggravated an injury in pregame warmups.

Burden had a season-high six catches before his injury. The rookie has 36 catches for 479 yards and a touchdown on the season. Odunze has now missed the last two games, but still leads the team with 44 catches for 661 yards and six touchdowns this year, the story said. The Bears and Packers are set to play on Saturday night this week so owners will want to monitor their statuses.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes underwent successful surgery Monday night in Dallas to repair the tear in his left ACL, the team announced.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Dan Cooper, the Dallas Cowboys' head team physician. A league source told ESPN that Dr. Cooper also repaired the torn LCL in Mahomes' left knee, confirming a report by NFL Network.

According to the Chiefs and the story, Mahomes "will begin his rehab process immediately." Mahomes was injured with less than two minutes remaining in Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Chargers. The story went on to say the typical recovery for such an injury is about nine months, meaning Mahomes will miss the team's offseason program, and his availability for the start of next season is in question. The 2026 NFL season opener is Sept. 10, the story said.

Bears coach Ben Johnson says Luther Burden's ankle is a 'day-by-day' situation.

As far as Rome Odunze, 'there may be a case we have to protect him from himself' so he can be a factor later on, per Ben Johnson.

Briggs added Burden's availability for Saturday night will remain a question until later in the week. Also a big question is Odunze, who is dealing with a foot injury. Moore was able to take some advantage of the situation and produced a 4-69-2 line against the Browns. Loveland was also a factor in the passing game, going 4-63-0. D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai totaled 29 rushes in the game last week. The Bears get the Packers in a Saturday night game in Week 16, however.

Backup quarterback Gardner Minshew, a five-year veteran, is expected to be the team's starter for the final three games of the regular season.

That stretch will serve as an audition for Minshew to remain with the Chiefs for next season, the story would add. "I've got a ton of confidence in Gardner," Reid said in the story. "I've watched him play with other teams, he's started in the league, and our guys have confidence in him."

Saints RB Alvin Kamara is out for Sunday’s game vs. Carolina.

Related Players: Devin Neal, Evan Hull

Looks like it could be another week of Devin Neal, who found the end zone en route to a 14.9-point day against the Buccaneers. With Kamara still sidelined, consider him a fringe RB2/3 option in Week 15.

Marvin Harrison Jr. is once again OUT this week vs. the Texans, per Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon.

Related Players: Michael Wilson, Trey McBride, Jalen Brooks, Trent Sherfield

It's another Michael Wilson week, and managers who picked him off the waiver wire weeks ago are ecstatic. Consider him a fantasy WR2 yet again.

RB Alvin Kamara and RT Asim Richards remained absent from Saints practice Thursday. And DT Davon Godchaux was absent as usual, as the Saints routinely rest him on Thursdays.

RT Taliese Fuaga was practicing again. And S Justin Reid appeared to increase his participation.
