Bears coach Ben Johnson says Luther Burden's ankle is a 'day-by-day' situation.

As far as Rome Odunze, 'there may be a case we have to protect him from himself' so he can be a factor later on, per Ben Johnson.

Briggs added Burden's availability for Saturday night will remain a question until later in the week. Also a big question is Odunze, who is dealing with a foot injury. Moore was able to take some advantage of the situation and produced a 4-69-2 line against the Browns. Loveland was also a factor in the passing game, going 4-63-0. D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai totaled 29 rushes in the game last week. The Bears get the Packers in a Saturday night game in Week 16, however.

Rapoport notes that Daniels was re-evaluated on Monday and was not medically cleared. With the quarterback expected to be medically ruled out for Saturday’s game against Philadelphia and then a quick turnaround for a Christmas Day game against the Cowboys on a Thursday, the Commanders made the final decision to end Daniels’ second season on Monday, the story went on to say. The move makes sense with nothing to play for this season. It was a disappointing, injury-filled season for the sophomore QB who had such an impressive rookie season.
