Skins TE Jordan Reed plans to play through shoulder injury

The Redskins enter Week 17 with an opportunity to earn a playoff spot. To do so, they'll need to beat the Giants.

So, it's a good thing then that they'll have Jordan Reed on the field. CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reported Tuesday that Reed will play through his shoulder injury Sunday. La Canfora tweeted: "With the Skins fighting for their playoffs lives, TE Jordan Reed will play this weekend, fighting himself thru a painful shoulder injury."

Fantasy Impact: 

The story said it's a good thing, but that wasn't the case two weeks ago when Reed tried to play through the injury and clearly wasn't himself, recording just one catch before getting ejected from the game. He's tough to trust but did sit out Week 16 so the hope is the time off did some good.
