Giants Beat: RB Rashad Jennings will 'resume his role' as 'bell cow'

Giants beat writer Dan Graziano on the return of RB Rashad Jennings: Jennings returned to practice Wednesday, and barring a setback they expect him to play Sunday and resume his role as the bell cow in their offense. They're 0-4 without him, averaging 83 rush yards per game as opposed to the 121 they were averaging with him. He's a three-down back who can pick up the blitz and catch the ball out of the backfield as well as pick up those "dirty" yards (as he calls them) on first and second downs.

Fantasy Impact:

Another beat writer predicted a 60/40 split in Week 11 and common sense dictates that Jennings won't return to 20-plus carries in his first game back. We're currently projecting around 16 touches in a game in which the Giants may have a tough time sticking with the run. The 49ers are #1 in RB aFPA, so it's a tough matchup, though the loss of Patrick Willis is a reason for optimism.
