Dez Bryant says his shoulder is fine

Cowboys WR Dez Bryant headed to the locker room early in the game Sunday after making an 18-yard catch and landing awkwardly on his right shoulder. Bryant missed only one series and returned to play the rest of the game.

Bryant, who finished with 10 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown, said after the game that he was fine.

“He just hurt his shoulder,” Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Monday. “He came down on it. The trainers took him in and did what they needed to do and he came right back out and obviously was really, really productive throughout the game.

“Dez is a very, very tough individual. He’s physically tough and he’s mentally tough. … [We] anticipate taking his injury day by day. Hopefully he’ll be ready to do something Wednesday in practice.”

Fantasy Impact:

It sounds like Bryant is considered day-to-day but the fact he returned and was so productive should mean he's good for Week 3. However, continue to monitor him in practice this week. It sounds like the Cowboys are optimistic he's on the field Wednesday.
