Colts re-sign Mo Alie-Cox

Colts taking WR Alec Pierce off PUP today, per source. Been rehabbing after surgery on left ankle/heel in March.

Coming off active/PUP is an important milestone, but Pierce still has to demonstrate that he can handle football activity without a flare-up. His Week 1 outlook is considerably better than it would have been had Indianapolis left him on PUP through Sunday’s deadline. We'll keep an eye on further developments over the next couple weeks.

Browns are releasing veteran WR Cedric Tillman, per sources. Cleveland spent two early 2026 draft picks on wide receivers, and now Tillman is out.

Tillman’s departure confirms that Cleveland’s rookie receivers have passed him and further solidifies Concepcion and Boston near the top of the depth chart. It also improves the roster outlook for fringe options such as Bond, Corley and Wallace. Tillman could attract interest elsewhere, but his next destination will determine whether he retains any deep-league value.

Tight end Tucker Kraft took a couple of hard hits during the joint practice, including one that was flagged for a late hit. He didn't seem to mind or think it was dirty. "I needed some contact like that to wake up the nervous system and get ready for Week 1," said Kraft, who won't play in any preseason games but is expected to be full go for the opener. Kraft, who is coming off ACL surgery, practiced despite not having a contract extension done yet. "I would say we're on the same page that we'd like to get it done as soon as possible, prior to Week 1, for sure," Kraft said.

This strengthens the case for drafting Kraft as a top-five tight end despite the relatively recent ACL tear. Barring a setback, he should avoid the limited early-season role that had been the risk following early-summer quotes.
