With the trade deadline approaching, Sunday was Jonah Coleman’s audition for the #broncos RB1 role the rest of the way.

Fantasy Impact:

The post went on to say Coleman isn’t splitting work anymore - he took over the Broncos backfield after halftime, and he did it as a runner and a receiver, in the mind of Jane, who covers the team for the Denver Post. Jane added, in the second half, Coleman accounted for roughly 55% of Denver’s 140 yards of offense. With Harvey now on IR, the receiving game work was open for Coleman to take over, but he looks like he may have passed Dobbins as the early down rusher as well. Coleman could still be on your wire at this point, maybe especially in more shallow leagues, but either way, he won't be there much longer.

Raiders HC Klint Kubiak likened Ashton Jeanty’s potential workload to Christian McCaffery’s during OTAs, adding that great backs don’t want to come off the field.

With Jeanty getting outsnapped by Mike Washington Jr. yesterday, asked if he thinks this is now more of a shared backfield.

“Your 11, whether you’re playing really well or not playing well at all, it’s always going to change a little bit.”

Fantasy Impact:

Jeanty got just two carries and played on 39% of snaps while Washington jumped to 60% of snaps and had 25 carries for 83 yards. Jeanty was still a factor in the passing game but only caught three balls for 64 yards. Unfortunately, despite Washington getting work previous weeks, no one really saw this total switch coming in Week 8. It remains to be seen if this was just a one-week thing or if the Raiders are giving Washington a chance to carry the load, leaving Jeanty as more of a change of pace or third down back.

Seahawks activating RB Jadarian Price for MNF

The Seahawks plan to activate first-round RB Jadarian Price from Injured Reserve to play tonight against the Bears, source says. His first game action since Sept. 27.

Fantasy Impact:

Charbonnet is also set to return tonight, making this week's backfield pretty crowded in Seattle. The Seahawks could ease Charbonnet back into action, making him a riskier fantasy play, meaning Wilson and Price split a lot of the work against the Bears. Going forward, fantasy owners will need more information so this backfield can be sorted out. One would think Charbonnet and Price emerge as the top-two. But don't forget, Price was benched due to fumbles before going on IR, giving the job to Wilson.

Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love dealing with new ankle injury

LaFleur said the ankle injury for Jeremiyah Love is a “new” one compared to the previous two.

Fantasy Impact:

As we just reported, Knight is in protocol and so it's very possible he misses next week's game. Reports say the Cardinals aren't ruling out placing Love on IR due to the injury, but that remains to be seen. It's also very possible Allgeier is the team's only healthy back heading into Week 8. There's a chance frustrated owners dropped Allgeier this past week with Love coming back and Knight mostly outperforming him over the last two games. Allgeier went off for 11-147-1 and 5-44-1 against the Cowboys, so if he's on your wire he should be added, even if it's for the short term.
