Jaylen Waddle aggravated chest injury; Week 8 availability uncertain

Broncos WR Jaylen Waddle, suffered an aggravation of his previous chest injury on the reverse last week and his status for Sunday vs the Chiefs will be determined at a later time, sources say.

Waddle’s availability will be based on how practice goes.

Fantasy Impact: Managers should have a replacement ready for Waddle. If he sits, Sutton would become Denver’s preferred WR3/FLEX option, while Mims and Franklin would enter deeper-league consideration through additional opportunities. Neither would become an automatic start in an offense that has struggled to produce consistent receiving value. Nix would remain a low-end SuperFlex option.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur on whether WR Matthew Golden (shoulder/foot) will be available Thursday:

“Sure hope so. Still working through it.”

Fantasy Impact:

The bad news is Golden was listed as DNP both Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday's report could hold the key to whether or not Golden is able to go on Thursday night against the Panthers.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) expected to play Week 8

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has not played since Oct. 4, missing the past three games with a high ankle sprain.

Ravens coach Jesse Minter on Monday expressed optimism about Jackson’s availability for Sunday, and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Jackson is expected to return this week.

Fantasy Impact:

As the story pointed out, Jackson was trending toward playing last week, too. Jackson was limited in all three practices last week and listed as questionable before not playing against the Bengals. The story said the Ravens denied a report Jackson woke up Sunday with swelling in his left ankle.

The story pointed out that Stevenson has looked good as a pass blocker, too, something that cannot be said for Henderson. Henderson continues to be uneven in that area, which can keep you off the field as an RB. The story mentioned that Henderson's feel for run-lane development is also still a major work in progress. Over the last three weeks, Henderson has 14 carries and 18 touches compared to Stevenson who has 33 carries and 41 touches.
