Ben Tate expects to play Week 10

Texans RB Ben Tate said late Sunday he left everything on the field during the Texans’ 27-24 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts.

Less than 24 hours later, Tate was feeling the pain of his commitment.

“It hurts pretty bad, man,” Tate said.

The four broken ribs he played with left him walking lightly Monday, saying it’s “hard to breathe and laugh.”

“I like to tell jokes. … Maybe by Friday,” said Tate, who plans to play Sunday at Arizona.

Fantasy Impact:

It sounds pretty painful, so it may not be a bad idea to get backup RB Dennis Johnson, who could be in line for increased work especially if Arian Foster isn't able to play after leaving Sunday night's game with a back injury. Tate carried 22 times vs. Indy in Week 9 with Johnson getting eight carries.
