Fantasy Football QB Streaming Week 3: Bryce Young To The Rescue

After a wild Week 1 in which scoring was up across the league, we saw more subdued offensive performances during Week 2. Only four quarterbacks threw for at least 300 yards, led by Patrick Mahomes with his 382-yard performance in an overtime win over the Colts. There were eight quarterbacks who finished with at least three touchdown passes, including Matthew Stafford, Dak Prescott, and Jared Goff throwing for four each.

Injuries also played a big role in the slate. Caleb Williams (hamstring) and Jayden Daniels (elbow) went down Sunday, then the Giants lost Jaxson Dart (knee) on Monday. None of their injuries appear to be season-ending, but all three could miss time. That puts many fantasy managers in a tough spot at the position, needing to hit the waiver wire for a replacement.

Week 3 Recap

It was a banner week for streamers. We had three players finish inside the top 10 at the position, led by Bryce Young being QB7. Right behind him was Tyler Shough at QB8. Shough led the Saints to an upset win over the Ravens on the road, throwing for 252 yards and one touchdown. He also turned nine carries into 23 yards and another score. He has thrown for 662 yards and four touchdowns through two weeks, despite playing both games on the road.

There weren’t really any disappointments among our streaming picks for the week. C.J. Stroud finished the lowest, but even he was serviceable as the QB13. Although he did not record a touchdown, he threw for 353 yards despite Nico Collins (hamstring) being out. He also ran three times for 29 yards against the Bengals.
