Tyler Warren cleared to return against Jaguars

Colts

Oct 30 · 5:39 PM EDT

Tyler Warren (groin) practiced fully Friday and has no injury designation for Sunday’s game against Jacksonville. He will return after missing Indianapolis’ previous two games.

Fantasy Impact:

Warren returns to the low-end TE1 conversation and is a viable start for managers who have been streaming replacements. His return adds competition for targets behind Downs and Allen, who remain PPR FLEX options. Indianapolis’ other tight ends should stay out of fantasy lineups.

Josh Downs requests trade from Colts

Jeremy Fowler

Oct 28 · 12:47 PM EDT

Josh Downs has requested a trade, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Shane Steichen separately said Jonathan Taylor has not requested a trade.

Fantasy Impact:

Hold Downs through the trade uncertainty. He remains a WR3/FLEX consideration while with Indianapolis, and a move could improve his outlook depending on his destination and role. If traded, Allen would become the preferred Colts WR start, with additional target opportunities available to Warren when healthy. Treadwell and Burks would become deeper-league considerations, but neither needs to be rushed into lineups before a deal happens.

Colts TE Tyler Warren ruled out against Vikings

Colts

Oct 23 · 2:06 PM EDT

Shane Steichen ruled Tyler Warren out Friday because of a groin injury. Warren will miss his second consecutive game.

Fantasy Impact:

Allen and Downs remain the most appealing Colts receiving options as WR3/FLEX plays. The tight end work could be spread among several players, leaving none of Warren’s replacements as a dependable streamer.

Keenan Allen, Tyler Warren miss Wednesday practice

JJ Stankevitz

Oct 21 · 4:32 PM EDT

Wide receiver Keenan Allen (rest), linebacker Bryce Boettcher (groin), guard Matt Goncalves (ankle), wide receiver Anthony Gould (concussion), tight end Drew Ogletree (ankle), defensive tackle Jerry Tillery (personal), cornerback Justin Walley (knee), cornerback Charvarius Ward Sr. (rest) and tight end Tyler Warren (groin) also did not practice.

Fantasy Impact:

Warren managers should secure a replacement while waiting for a practice return. If he misses again, Mallory and Alie-Cox would share the opportunity without either becoming a dependable streamer. Allen and Downs would have a better chance to absorb additional targets and strengthen their WR3/FLEX cases.
