Rookie WR Alec Pierce is one of a handful of players who have already been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Jaguars.

Fantasy Impact:

Matt Ryan's debut performance as the Colts' quarterback was middle-of-the-road at best, though he did rack up 352 yards passing in the Week 1 overtime tie. Ashton Dulin is the most likely scenario to be the 1v1 replacement for Pierce, with Parris Campbell continuing to operate out of the slot on the majority of his snaps. Meanwhile, there's no signs pointing towards a drop in Michael Pittman's 28% target share.

Frank Reich: Alec Pierce developed concussion symptoms after the game and is now in the concussion protocol.

The tweet said Pierce took a huge hit in the game that bent his facemask. Piece had a nice camp and was thought to have a shot at the WR2 role for the Colts but didn't record a catch in Week 1. Dulin went for 3-46-0 in Week 1 and could have an increased role again if Pierce can't play.

"He's a playmaker. We love him. We're all planning on him making a significant contribution to not only special teams but to the offense this year."

Dulin's game was originally built on speed but he has added muscle to change his game and his style. Nate Atkins, the author of the story, said each day of Colts training camp so far has produced a “wow” play from Dulin. The Colts certainly aren't loaded at WR so Dulin has a chance to earn snaps going forward.
