Vince Young returned to the practice field and split reps with veteran Kerry Collins as the Tennessee Titans continued preparation for the Miami Dolphins.

Young sat out Wednesday because of the left ankle he re-injured just before the bye week against the San Diego Chargers. He was listed Thursday as a limited participant in practice.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher said he hopes that Young will be able to increase his workload on Friday, as the team makes a determination on whether Young will start Sunday against the Dolphins.

“We're hopeful that he'll get the bulk of the starter reps tomorrow,” Fisher said.

Young said he wants to be healthy when he plays and was somewhat evasive as to whether he would play against the Dolphins.

“We still have a long season, yes I want to be out there playing, but if it don’t let me get out there to play I won’t play. At the same time, if I feel good you will see me out there playing,” he said.
