Jeff Hafley said Dolphins traded for Kyle McCord to be team's QB2. But he added he expects Brady Cook to make a push.

Fantasy Impact:

This is probably only something to pay attention to in the deepest superflex leagues. Those already owning stock in the Dolphins passing game are already concerned enough, but if something were to happen to Willis, the situation likely isn't going to be very promising. McCord was traded by the Packers while Cook made five starts for the Jets at the end of last season.

John Lynch says that the 49ers hope to have Mike Evans, who has an adductor injury, back at practice next week.

Fantasy Impact:

Use of the word "hope" doesn't make us feel warm and fuzzy about Evans' status heading into Week 1, at least at this point. He'll lose a couple of days to get ready as the 49ers play the Rams in Week 1 next Thursday night. The now seemingly oft-injured Evans will probably need to start logging some practice time soon, if he wants to be ready for the Sept. 10 game in Melbourne. With Kittle also a question mark, the Niners could be looking for Deebo, the rookie Stribling and of course CMC in the passing game.

We're inside two weeks until the Raiders first game, so there's time for Jeanty to get back on the practice field, but fantasy owners should probably have a backup plan at this point. The team has made it obvious they love Washington Jr., the rookie they drafted this past spring, and if Jeanty can't play Week 1, it really looks like Washington could step right in as their RB1.

Nabers is coming back from a torn ACL last year. According to the story everything has been trending in a positive direction for Nabers. Nabers was quoted as saying there are some things he needs to check off before he gets back on the field, but he feels "real good." While he's keeping his checklist in-house, the story said it wasn't anything too big he needs to overcome yet.
