Broncos WR Marvin Mims removed from injury report, good to go for Week 1

The Broncos ruled out LB Dre Greenlaw (quad) for Sunday's opener vs. Tennessee.

WR Marvin Mims Jr. (thigh) and OLB Nik Bonitto (foot) are off the injury report and good to go.

Fantasy Impact:

Good news for Mims, who is one of the more intriguing WR4/5 types in the league this year; he could either put up barely-relevant fantasy numbers, or build on what was a promising back-half of 2024. He can be left on benches in Week 1, but keep him on rosters where you can, as this sets up for a possible breakout season.

Jets RB Braelon Allen likely to land on IR

Jets RB Braelon Allen, who was ruled out last night with a knee injury, suffered an MCL sprain that will likely land him on Injured Reserve, sources say. Allen is expected to receive additional opinions.

Fantasy Impact:

Davis got a little bit of run in Week 4, but it's not likely to be enough to put him on fantasy radars. Hall should continue to be valued as a borderline RB1 option with Allen not a threat to steal short-yardage touches away from the do-it-all back.

49ers QB Brock Purdy, WR Ricky Pearsall Questionable for Week 5

49ers GM John Lynch told @KNBR that QB Brock Purdy and Ricky Pearsall will both be questionable for the TNF Rams game.

“We will take every precaution to make sure Brock’s all right. I think he is, now can he turn it around on a short week?”

Fantasy Impact:

The injuries don't seem to be backing off any time soon. If Pearsall is out and Jennings is available —which isn't guaranteed— the latter should be considered more of a WR2 than a WR3. Christian McCaffrey is a must-start no matter what's going on with his teammates.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill's 2026 status in question

With surgery today, it’s possible that Tyreek Hill will undergo additional surgeries. There is no guarantee he’ll be ready for 2026.

None of his 2026 salary is guaranteed now, but $11M (of $29.9M) becomes fully guaranteed if he’s on the roster in March, plus a $5M roster bonus.

Fantasy Impact:

The Tyreek injury saps some explosiveness out of a Dolphins offense based on it. We should expect more work out of Waddle, while the WR2 role is theoretically Washington's, though it will likely be spread around to a number of faces. We'll have to see exactly how that plays out in the upcoming weeks.
