Saints: RB Alvin Kamara's role change caused lack of targets in Week 4

Sean Payton said Alvin Kamara’s lack of targets was due to his role changing with Tony Jones Jr.’s injury.

Payton said it was also due to the way the Giants were covering him. Kamara was the primary on a few plays but the progression forced the ball elsewhere, according to the tweet. Kamara was targeted one time in Week 4, he has just 10 catches through four weeks for 66 yards, but does have two TDs. In Week 4, Kamara carried 26 times for 120 yards but it was Hill who added two rushing touchdowns.
