Allison is set to return as a borderline WR2 after missing three games. Prior to going down, he was averaging 15 PPR PPG through the first month of the season. We see no reason for him to take a significant step back and have him as a mid-range WR3 for the rest of the season. It's been a month since Cobb last played, but even before getting hurt, he had been largely ineffective outside of a fantastic Week 1.

Geronimo Allison (hamstring) is good to go Sunday against the Rams. Randall Cobb (hamstring) remains questionable.

Cobb is listed as questionable, and, at least as of now, seems like a real question mark for Sunday. It's been a month since he last played, but even before getting hurt, he had been largely ineffective outside of a fantastic Week 1. We are less bullish on his season-long prospects, but Aaron Rodgers is so special, Cobb is a guy who should be owned in most leagues just in case.

As reported earlier, Allison and Cobb won't play against the 49ers meaning Valdes-Scantling becomes an interesting play for those in need. St. Brown could also be in the mix.

Both are dealing with hamstring issues. The Packers may be sitting them due to their Week 7 bye, with the hope they can get by this week and both players will be back and ready to go for Week 8. Valdes-Scantling makes for a nice option for owners counting on Cobb or Allison tonight. Things will be official around 7 p.m. tonight when the inactives are announced.

Mike McCarthy said he'd give WRs Geronimo Allison and Randall Cobb up until inactives Monday night to get healthy enough to play. The team didn't practice Saturday, but the injury report estimates they both would have had limited participation.

Both playing on Monday night complicates things for fantasy owners. Both have hamstring injuries, which also has an increased chance of re-injury if either is active. If available, fantasy owners would be wise to start a better option at WR on Sunday if Marquez Valdes-Scantling is not available. The Packers rookie WR4 put up 7-68-1 on 10 targets last week.
