Sources: The #Chargers have franchise tagged TE Hunter Henry, keeping a key playmaker in the fold for another year.

When on the field, Hunter Henry is a mismatch for defenders and one of the best tight ends in the league. He's missed 23 contests out of a possible 64 due to injury though, which has some fantasy managers a bit hesitant to pull the trigger on the 25-year old. Henry should be a mid-range TE1 come draft season, and especially with his quarterback situation unknown, he could provide a solid check-down option in 2020.

Chargers TE Hunter Henry will get in a limited practice on Wednesday. This will be his first practice since suffering a tibial plateau fracture to his left knee in Week 1.

The Chargers' injury woes are plentiful, but here is some good news, as Hunter Henry returns to practice. We shouldn't expect him to play this week against the Steelers, but his chances to go in Week 7 against the Titans have gotten much better. If he is a free agent, grab him now.

Lynn on the possibility of Hunter Henry (knee) returning this week: "He was moving around pretty good last week (on the side working with trainers)," He said. "So we'll see if we can try to work him in (to practice) this week. ... But there's no guarantee he'll be back."

Henry is getting closer which is good news for fantasy owners who stashed him away - and the Chargers need him after an unimpressive performance against the Broncos. If he's on your wire, maybe now is the time to make a move. He likely seems another week or two away however.
