Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said Micah Parsons remains with the team even though he wasn’t at today’s practice.

More evaluation needed on RB Jaydon Blue and TE Jake Ferguson but they don’t think either injury is significant

Fantasy Impact:

Sounds like a rough day at practice for the Cowboys, but we shouldn't bump Ferguson down the ranks until we hear it's a more serious injury than it looks. As a clear option to be the No. 3 pass-catcher in a pass-heavy offense, he should be considered as a fantasy asset in the fringe TE1/2 range.

Guerendo is already sidelined with a shoulder injury so things are pretty thin in the RB room right now. If CMC wasn't already slated for a giant workload, that looks just about locked in at this point. He's an easy first-round click.

Sounds like something minor, but all fantasy eyes will be on him as we continue to try to make sense out of this backfield. Williams seems like the frontrunner to start the season as RB1, but with his and Sanders' inefficiency in recent years, the rookie is a very interesting target late in drafts.

McVay said at a press conference that Matthew Stafford will work out on Saturday ahead of the Rams’ preseason game against the Cowboys. If all goes well in that session, Stafford will be in line to practice with the team on Monday.

Even if Stafford is truly 100% by Week 1, he can still be ignored in typical redraft leagues with the possibility open to streaming him later in the season. The team does have a perfectly capable backup in Garoppolo, so we could see him snag a start or two before Stafford's shoulder is all the way back to normal.
