Wide receiver Keenan Allen (hamstring), running back Austin Ekeler (quad), tight end Hunter Henry (hip), and wide receiver Mike Williams (back) were listed as limited participants after being listed as out on Monday.

While it was only a walkthrough, it's good news for all four players who were listed has not being able to take part in Monday's practice.

The Chargers did not hold a practice on Monday because they played a game on Sunday, but their effort to hold a workout would have been hampered by the health of their roster as well.

The group is headlined by wide receiver Keenan Allen, who left Sunday’s win over the Falcons with a hamstring injury. Tight end Hunter Henry (hip) is also in the group. He left Sunday’s game for a brief period and returned to action. Also listed was Mike Williams and Austin Ekeler.

With a Thursday game against the Raiders on the docket, the Chargers were obligated to release an estimated practice report and it showed that 12 players would not have taken part in practice. The names above are obviously a pretty big chunk of the Bolts offense so it's worth monitoring over the next couple of days leading up to Thursday night to see how these guys progress. Williams is dealing with a back injury and Ekeler a quad.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen was added to the team’s injury report Saturday with an illness and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Raiders.

Before this news, Allen was a top ten option thanks to the excellent play of both he and rookie QB Justin Herbert. If Allen can’t go, Mike Williams gets a huge boost in value and Jaylen Guyton becomes an interesting play for the week. Keep an eye on the inactives tomorrow. This game kicks off at 4:05.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen practiced in full Friday and will play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Fernando Ramirez of Sports Illustrated.

Allen left their Week 5 game with what ended up being back spasms. The bye week and rest have helped make the star receiver available for Week 7. Fire him up as a WR1 against a poor Jacksonville defense.

Chargers Head Coach Anthony Lynn told reporters on Wednesday that wide receiver Keenan Allen was having back spasms on Monday night and "will be fine."

This is great news after Allen left Monday's game and never returned with a mysterious back issue. The Chargers now enter their bye week, which provides Allen an opportunity to shake off the spasms and return to action without missing a full game. Allen has flashed immediate chemistry with emerging rookie Justin Herbert and makes for a borderline WR1 when healthy.

In the second quarter, wide receiver Keenan Allen was seen getting worked on by trainers on the sideline, and the team announced he was questionable to return with a back injury. At halftime, the Chargers downgraded his status to out.

Allen was on the receiving end of the Chargers' first touchdown of the game, as Herbert found him streaking across the field on 3rd-and-long. Hopefully Allen is able to recover during the week, but it will obviously be a short week as the team hosts the Jets in Week 6 in a late afternoon game Sunday.

As I reported last month, the Chargers are preparing for the possibility to playing a majority of September without Mike Williams, despite the recent public optimism.

Related players: Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Jalen Guyton, Joe Reed, K.J. Hill, Jason Moore

The Chargers are keeping six WRs having to deal with the Williams injury, which seems to keep adding weeks on the end. Guyton, Reed and Hill will likely battle it out for the second and third WR roles. Hill was having a good camp and seems to be in line for one of the spots. The Chargers prefer to have speed, which gives Guyton and Reed an edge.
