Fantasy Football QB Streaming Week 4: Jacoby Brissett Stands Out

Despite wet conditions in some games, we still saw plenty of productive quarterbacks during Week 3. Nine of them posted at least three touchdown passes, with Brock Purdy, Sam Darnold, and Tyler Shough all throwing four each. In terms of passing yards, Matthew Stafford led the way with 390 of them in a wild loss to the Broncos on Sunday night.

Week 4 is the final slate before bye weeks begin. Given the injuries at the position across the league, some fantasy managers might still be forced to hit the waiver wire to find a streaming replacement.

Week 3 Recap

Two of our four recommendations from last week finished among the top 10 at quarterback. Geno Smith led the way, finishing as QB3 in a favorable matchup against the Lions. He completed 31 of 37 pass attempts, finishing with 321 yards and three touchdowns. What made his performance even more impressive was that Adonai Mitchell (finger) and Mason Taylor (thumb) didn’t play.

As far as disappointments go, C.J. Stroud couldn’t get much going in a loss to the Colts, throwing for 167 yards and one touchdown. He misses Nico Collins (hamstring), who hasn’t played the last two games. Stroud completed less than 60% of his passes in both matchups without him, totaling just one touchdown along the way.
