Squirrel Patrol's Week 2 NFL Main Slate DFS GPP Picks
Week 2 brings a 13-game main slate on Sunday, kicking off at 1 p.m. ET. Both sites are again featuring Millionaire Maker contests, with one on FanDuel and multiple on DraftKings. We now have a week of game action to fold into the picture, but one week is a small sample, so this week's picks lean on our 4for4 projections and ownership first, with Week 1 usage as a supporting piece rather than the whole story.
Only one game on the slate carries a total above 50 points, with WAS/DAL at 50.5 and the Cowboys favored by 4.5. MIN/CHI is next at 47.5, with the Bears favored by 4.5, followed by NO/BAL at 46.5, where the Ravens are 8.5-point favorites. PHI/TEN has the lowest total on the slate at 39.5. The 49ers carry the highest implied team total at 29.0 as 13.5-point favorites over Miami, with the Ravens (27.5), Cowboys (27.5), and Bears (26.0) next. WAS/DAL kicks off in the 4:25 p.m. ET window, which matters for late swap, and I'll come back to that at quarterback.
The injury report is already shaping the slate. Sam Darnold is out for Seattle, so Drew Lock starts in Arizona; Kyler Murray remains in the concussion protocol, which points to Carson Wentz for Minnesota in Chicago; and Zay Flowers (hamstring), Ladd McConkey (ribs), and Chig Okonkwo (hamstring) are all questionable after leaving Week 1 early, and I'm assuming all three sit. Josh Jacobs remains out for Green Bay, Jordan Mason went to injured reserve for the Vikings, and A.J. Brown is on injured reserve for New England.
Let's break down the positions, spotlight some of the best DFS options, and map out a path to the top of the leaderboards this Sunday.
