Chargers to sign WR D.J. Chark to one-year deal

Former Panthers WR and current FA DJ.. Chark has agreed to terms with the #Chargers on a 1-year deal worth up to $5M. A new landing spot for Chark, who visited with LAC before the Draft.

Fantasy Impact:

Chark, like most of the Panthers' pass-catchers, had a mediocre single season in Carolina, hauling in only 56.5% of his targets. It's been a long road since his 1,000+ yard season in 2019, but at the very least, he will offer Justin Herbert a little more firepower. He makes for a good dart throw in fantasy, as he could end up usurping Johnston and/or Palmer for snaps.

LAC WR Ladd McConkey - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Pittsburgh Steelers

After being the leading receiver in Week 1, Ladd McConkey took a backseat to Quentin Johnston in Week 2. All in all, the story of the Chargers passing game is very low-scoring and whoever catches the touchdown (or two) that week will be the highest-scoring receiver. There's not enough volume here to sustain multiple receivers in a given week.

McConkey in a tough matchup is a flex if you're desperate and has slightly more appeal in PPR leagues, but again, the volume here isn't enough to sustain a usable week without a touchdown.
