Quarterbacks
This is a unique week at the quarterback position with most of the elite tier of dual-threat quarterbacks off the slate. Dak Prescott was lost for the season while Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes and Kyler Murray all play on Monday night. This leaves Deshaun Watson ($8,200) as the preferred high-end option. Houston will travel to Tennessee for a game with a 55-point total and a spread of just three, in favor of the Titans. This is the only contest on the main slate featuring two offenses that rank in the top 10 in neutral pace.
In Watson’s first game without Bill O’Brien, he posted season highs in yards and passing touchdowns, with 359 and three, and tacked on 25 rushing yards. Houston has thrown at the highest rate in neutral game script this season (64.9%) and Watson has thrived against defenses that struggle at pressuring the quarterback, throwing for 300+ yards against the Vikings and Jaguars—Tennessee’s defense ranks last in adjusted sack rate.
