Bengals star WR Ja’Marr Chase was suspended one game by the NFL, which determined that Chase spit on Steelers DB Jalen Ramsey, who was ejected on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

It looks like Higgins and Iosivas will operate as the top-two WRs. Jones and Tinsley have had very limited snaps this season and could be deeper options. It's possible the team uses Brown more as a receiver out of the backfield, and even Brooks. Gesicki and Fant could get more targets at TE as well. While Chase denied he spit, there is too much tape all over social media that shows otherwise. The Bengals play the Patriots in Week 12.

The NFL will review the Jalen Ramsey-Ja'Marr Chase punching/alleged spitting incident.

Fantasy Impact:

Ramsey was ejected for punching Chase, but Ramsey said after the game Chase spit on him. There are some close-up views of what appears to be spit, according to Rapoport, but Rapoport also said the referee doesn't believe it got to that level. Of course, the Eagles Jalen Carter was ejected for spitting on Dak Prescott before the first snap of the teams game back in Week 1, so it's possible Chase gets a game suspension if it's found he did spit on Ramsey.

Fantasy Impact:

An illness seems like something Chase could potentially play through, but if Cincinnati is getting blown out again, that could end up leading to the wide receiver hitting the showers early. Without more information at the time, it would be hard to take him out of your lineup unless we hear further bad news. For now, keep him and Higgins in lineups ahead of Joe Flacco's first game.

In Week 3, quarterback Joe Flacco led the Browns to an upset win over the Packers. On Sunday, Flacco could get a chance to do it again, as the quarterback of the other NFL franchise in Ohio.

Via Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, the Bengals “would like” Flacco to be ready to go for the Week 5 game at Lambeau Field.

It will require plenty of extra work to get Flacco up to speed, as to the terminology, plays, and concepts of the Cincinnati offense. And he has no experience with the team’s starting receivers, Chase and Higgins, the story pointed out. However, as the story also mentioned, Chase and Higgins will be the best two receivers he has had during an 18-year career with the Ravens, Broncos, Jets, Browns (twice), and Colts.
