Seahawks RB Chris Carson (foot, out) and Carlos Hyde (hamstring, out) are out for Week 9. With Carson out, DeeJay Dallas might lead the backfield again this week. He out-snapped Travis Homer 54-to-7 and out-touched him 23-to-1, but Homer barely practiced last week and was limited on Thursday of this week, so he may be healthier and see more work this week. Alex Collins was also signed and may play this week.

Former Baltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins faces narcotics and gun charges after being released on $7,500 bail early Saturday morning.

Collins, 24, was released around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on three chargers after an initial hearing at a Baltimore County courthouse: possession of more than 10 grams of marijuana, intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a handgun in a vehicle.

The Ravens waived Collins on Friday afternoon, hours after he crashed his black Chevrolet Corvette into a tree about a mile from the Ravens' team facility. Officers found Collins asleep in the driver's seat and detected an odor of marijuana inside the vehicle, according to police.

Fantasy Impact: 

John Harbaugh indicated that Gus Edwards is the team's No. 1 running back heading into the offseason, but he was in a near even timeshare with Kenneth Dixon in the final month of the season. Dixon is a much better receiver, though Edwards is the better pass blocker. The Ravens are going to be extremely run-heavy under OC Greg Roman and whoever is the lead back is likely to be a fantasy starter.

The Ravens have placed RB Alex Collins on the Injured Reserve list and activated RB Kenneth Dixon.

Fantasy Impact: 

Gus Edwards has little to no competition for early down work now. Dixon will compete for change of pace duties with Javorius Allen and Ty Montgomery

The Ravens have listed Gus Edwards (ankle) and Alex Collins (knee) as questionable for Week 13. Edwards was able to practice in full on Friday.

Fantasy Impact: 

It seems like Edwards will be a go, but Collins may not. Either way, Edwards is the better play of the two as he has led the backfield in touches and fantasy scoring the last two weeks racking up 233 yards and 29.3 fantasy points. He is a RB2 against a vulnerable Falcons defense.
